Water Hearing Policy
If you have a question about your bill or reading used at any time you can contact us for a bill explanation. When you contact the office, we will do our best to give you all the information so you feel comfortable that your billing is correct. If there is any information that need further research, we will get back to you in a timely manner.
If after seeking the explanation you are not satisfied with the answers provided by us. At this time, you may request a Hearing. The forms to request a hearing are available below on this page or in the water office during business hours. The request must be filled out and submitted before the 21st of the month. These hearing are for water bill disputes only, they are not for the reason of extensions, payment plans, or matters unrelated to charges for water.
At the time the form is submitted we will review the information and set a hearing time and date. We will contact and let you know when it will be. At the hearing you will see Gary Etter (Water Superintendent), Jessica Selhime (Senior Water Clerk), and a hearing officer. The hearing officer will be a city official or the mayor.
