The City of Virden provides the following ways for you to submit your public information request.

You may request a form from the Virden Police Department or City Hall or print the FOIA Request provided below.

Written Form

Please note that public information can be requested by, completeing the included form, submitting a formal letter, or by verbal phone request to the Virden Police Department or City Hall .

Hand Delivery or Fax

You may submit a request to the Virden Police Department 24 hours a day, including by fax at 217-965-5509 or to City Hall M-F 8am to 5pm, including by fax at 217-965-3577.

What Type of FOIA to Submit to the Right Place

You should submit any police related FOIAs to the Police Department. All other FOIAs should be submitted to City Hall.
